Entering into the investment banking industry, whether a fresh-faced graduate or a seasoned professional, requires strong academic qualifications, relevant experience, potentially a Masters degree, and the successful completion of a Series 7 examination. While many investment banks have an appetite for younger, more tenacious individuals to stand on the sales floor, more experienced individuals are welcomed into more administrative areas, such as underwriting.
