The best degree to obtain would be an M.B.A in both or either of the following fields or to major in one and minor in one, engineering would be key, mathematics, If you had an M.B.A where you majored in engineering and minored in mathematics, that would be the best approach.
As Deloitte is majorly in to audit, tax, financial advisory and risk management. Prefered degree would be in accounts and commece with major on taxing or cattered accounts. IF you are looking for a management role then MBA with finance major can help you a spot in getting in to the company.
That truly depends what you want to do there. As answered above, Deloitte and the other Big 4 are pretty much broken up into Audit, Tax, and Advisory.
Audit- lots of openings, tough work life balance, great foundation. Major in accounting (or business with an accounting focus) and have all of your CPA reqs taken care of or lined up.
Tax- As above. Some also go for a masters in taxation which warrants a small salary premium.
Advisory- So many directions to go here. For internal audit, forensics, or other various risk consulting- mostly just have a business degree background of some sort. CPA is optional here at many firms. For IT advisory, consider business and/or a degree in IT / information systems.
Hope this helps, good luck.
